Immunizations During Pregnancy

Some immunizations are safe during pregnancy; while other are absolutely contra-indicated.

ALWAYS CONTRA-INDICATED 

·         Smallpox

·         Rubella

·         Mumps & Measles

·         Hepatitis B

POSSIBLE CONTRA-INDICATIONS

·         Polio (Sabin-oral)

·         Influenza (Flu shots)

SAFE DURING PREGNANCY

·         Yellow Fever

·         Plague

·         Tuberculosis (BCG)

·         Pneumococcal

·         Rabies

·         Tetanus

Always discuss any medication with your care giver and always let every doctor you see know that you are pregnant.
